Mets' Dedniel Nunez: Returned to Mets

Nunez (elbow) was returned to the Mets on Friday.

The 2021 Rule 5 selection needed Tommy John surgery and the Giants no longer want to keep him on the 40-man roster. He could return to the mound sometime next summer.
