Marte was removed from Tuesday's game against the Padres with left quadriceps tightness, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
Marte tweaked his quad during the first inning of Tuesday's contest while attempting to steal second base, and he was removed after initially remaining in the game. The 33-year-old is undergoing an MRI, per Anthony DiComo of MLB.com, and should be considered day-to-day until his status is updated.
