Orioles' Coby Mayo: Heads to injured list

Mayo landed on Double-A Bowie's injured list with back spasms Saturday, Steve Melewski of MASNSports.com reports.

Mayo hadn't played in a week due to the issue, which is now considered serious enough for him to officially exit the roster. The Orioles don't seem concerned about any long-term issues for Mayo, however.
