Odor is not in the lineup Friday against the Mets.
Odor seemed poised for an uptick in playing time when the Padres parted ways with Nelson Cruz earlier this week, but he's now been absent from the starting lineup five out of the last six games. Matt Carpenter will serve as the DH and bat eighth Friday versus the Mets and right-hander Justin Verlander.
