Martini will be part of the Phillies' 60-man roster.
Martini was claimed off waivers by the Phillies in January and designated for assignment in February, but he stayed with the club as a non-roster invitee after clearing waivers a few days afterwards. He had just a .653 OPS through 109 plate appearances at the major-league level in 2019 and has an uphill battle to break camp with a deep positional group.
