Joe went 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored Friday against the Marlins.
Joe has hit leadoff in each of the Pirates' first two games with lefties on the mound. His first start came in right field, while Friday's came at first base. While Joe looks to be stuck on the short side of a platoon, he is locked into a valuable role when in the lineup.
