Rangers' David Carpenter: Sent outright to Triple-A

Carpenter cleared waivers Monday and was outrighted to Triple-A Nashville.

Carpenter was designated for assignment Saturday, but he didn't receive much interest while on the waiver wire. He'll serve as organizational depth for the Sounds.
