Wagner, who is working back from Tommy John surgery in August 2014, was promoted to Triple-A Durham as the next step in his rehab process, Josh Vitale of Suncoast Sports reports.

The 32-year-old reliever allowed a hit and a run while striking out four over 5.2 innings in four appearances for High-A Charlotte. The veteran has been consistently hitting 95 mph on the radar gun, and will now take the next step against a level of hitter just shy of major league quality. Wagner last pitched in the majors for the Blue Jays in 2014, posting an 8.10 ERA across 10 innings of work without recording any decisions.
