Rays' Yandy Diaz: No timeline to return

Manager Kevin Cash said he had no update on Diaz's (personal) status prior to Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays, MLB.com reports.

Diaz has been away from the Rays since the All-Star break and was officially placed on the restricted list Saturday. Cash confirmed that Diaz's placement on the restricted list isn't the result of any team-related decision, as the veteran infielder is tending to a personal family matter. Diaz remains in daily communication with the team.
