The Red Sox reassigned Dermody to minor-league camp Wednesday, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

The 32-year-old left-hander had previously seen big-league action in parts of four seasons from 2016 through 2022, logging a 5.60 ERA over 30 career relief appearances. He'll likely open the season at Triple-A Worcester and provide Boston's top minor-league affiliate with experienced depth out of the bullpen.
