Ogando was claimed off waivers by the Reds on Tuesday, Zach Buchanan of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

The 27-year-old started his season in High-A as he was recovering from a rib injury, but he quickly made his way up to the majors. In his time with the Marlins, he notched a 2.30 ERA along with a 1.15 WHIP over 15.2 innings. He'll provide some bullpen help to the Reds if he can crack their 25-man roster.
