Bernard signed a minor-league contract with the Rockies on Sunday.
Bernard appeared in 100 games at the Triple-A level in 2021 and had a .254/.319/.395 slash line with seven homers, 30 RBI, 57 runs and 23 stolen bases in 351 plate appearances. He has yet to make his big-league debut and seems unlikely to do so in 2022 without a significant improvement.
