Ryan Cordell: Let go by Philadelphia

Cordell was released by the Phillies on Thursday, Andersen Pickard of MLBDailyDish.com reports.

Cordell signed a minor-league dealing with the Phillies in late April. He spent the entirety of the season with Triple-A Lehigh Valley but was hitting just .198/.292/.411 across 226 plate appearances.
