Carpenter went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 3-2, 10-inning win over the Mariners.
Carpenter was 0-for-3 with three strikeouts entering the eighth inning, and the Tigers trailed 2-0, but he delivered a key home run to tie the contest. The 26-year-old has now gone deep three times in two games since returning from the injured list following a nearly three-month absence, giving him 11 homers for the season in just 154 at-bats. Carpenter appears to be fully healthy, though Detroit will likely find him some rest days in the near future to ease him back into action.
