Huang was released by the Rangers on Saturday.
Huang had been working at the Rangers' alternate training site after serving as a non-roster invitee during camp, but he'll search for a new home following his release. The right-hander appeared in four games for Texas last year, allowing two runs on eight hits and five walks while striking out two over 5.2 innings.
