White Sox's Oscar Colas: Bumped up to Triple-A

The White Sox promoted Colas from Double-A Birmingham to Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday, baseball journalist Francys Romero reports.

With Birmingham's season coming to an end Sunday, Colas will head to Triple-A to pick up some more plate appearances to close out his first year in affiliated ball. Charlotte marks the third stop of the season for Colas, who slashed .309/.367/.516 with 47 extra-base hits between stints at Double-A and High-A Winston-Salem.
