White Sox's Penn Murfee: Sent to Triple-A

The White Sox optioned Murfee to Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday.

The right-hander was poised to fill a high-leverage role for Chicago this year, but he'll head to Charlotte after posting a 7.82 ERA in his first 15 outings of the season. Murfee is likely to rejoin the White Sox if he can get back on track at Triple-A.
