McKay was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday.
McKay was up with the Yankees for Sunday's doubleheader against the White Sox before being demoted after Game 2, and he's now rejoined the major-league club. He delivered a scoreless inning during his lone MLB appearance this season and has a 1.84 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 21:8 K:BB over 14.2 innings at Triple-A.
