Bader (oblique) will likely spend a couple weeks on a rehab assignment before being activated from the injured list, Yankees manager Aaron Boone told Chris Kirschner of The Athletic on Friday.
Bader will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Somerset on Friday. Because it will be his first game action since he strained his left oblique in early March, he'll require a good number of at-bats in order to knock the rust off.
