Dominguez (oblique) was activated from the 7-day injured list by Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Dominguez missed nearly six weeks of action with a strained oblique. The top prospect has slashed .389/.405/.639 with two home runs in nine games during his time with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season and will be a candidate to a promotion to the majors during the second half, particularly if the Yankees aren't able to add the offensive help they desire at the trade deadline.
