Williams (shoulder) was officially reinstated from the 60-day DL and optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

Williams underwent season-ending shoulder surgery last August and has yet to see a single non-rehab at-bat in 2016. After spending a couple of weeks at Single-A Tampa, he'll now head to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, where he'll have the opportunity to see regular at-bats before a potential return to the big leagues.
