Mariners' Michael Arroyo: Hits first career homer
Arroyo went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, a walk, three total RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 19-1 win over the Athletics.
Arroyo was in the lineup for just the second time since his Sept. 6 call-up. He went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts prior to his big game Saturday, which checked off a lot of firsts in his young career. He has yet to carve out a steady spot in the lineup, but that could change once the Mariners are officially eliminated from playoff contention.

Young went 3-for-6 with a two-run home run, three additional RBI and two total runs scored in Saturday's 19-1 win over the Athletics.
Young and Michael Arroyo were both in the lineup Saturday against southpaw Gage Jump. Young has retained a starting role at second base since Arroyo was called up. Through 11 games in September, Young is 13-for-39 (.333) with eight RBI. He's batting .250 with a .706 OPS, 17 homers, 65 RBI, 71 runs scored, 18 doubles, four triples and three stolen bases across 148 contests this season.

Tigers' Hao-Yu Lee: Drives in three runs Saturday
Lee went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a triple, a walk, two runs and three RBI in an 11-7 win against the Rockies on Saturday.
Lee was one of three Tigers to log a trio of hits, and all three of those knocks went for extra bases. The infielder drove in a run with a double in the fourth inning and added a clutch two-run, two-out triple in the eighth. Lee was in need of a strong performance, as he'd gone 1-for-17 with nine strikeouts (albeit with six walks) over his previous six games. He's started three of Detroit's past five contests.

Genao isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Twins.
Genao will get a chance to regroup Saturday after going 7-for-32 (.219) across his first 11 games of September. Travis Bazzana will start at second base while Genao sits, and Jose Ramirez will man the hot corner.

Clement isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Baltimore.
Clement will take a seat Saturday after going 3-for-15 with two runs scored while starting each of Toronto's last four games. Josh Smith will pick up a start at second base and bat seventh.

Torres will step out of the lineup Saturday after going 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in the series opener. Hao-Yu Lee will start at second base with Torres on the bench, and Colt Keith will work as the designated hitter.

Twins' Ben Ross: Relegated to Triple-A
The Twins optioned Ross to Triple-A St. Paul on Saturday.
The Twins promoted Ross from Triple-A when rosters expanded at the beginning of September, but he's since appeared in only three games and struck out three times in his four at-bats. He'll now return to the minors to make room for Emmanuel Rodriguez, who was recalled from St. Paul in a corresponding move.

McNeil went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Mariners.
McNeil started the scoring for the Athletics with an RBI double in the first frame. After a lackluster first half of the season, the veteran has been on fire since the All-Star break, slashing .339/.368/.491 with five homers, 28 RBI, 24 runs and seven stolen bases over his past 45 games. Overall, McNeil is hitting .270/.319/.374 with eight homers, 54 RBI, 47 runs and eight stolen bases in 130 contests.

Guardians' Travis Bazzana: On base four times in win
Bazzana went 2-for-2 with two walks and two runs scored in Friday's 5-2 win over the Twins.
Bazzana got on base to start an inning in all four of his plate appearances, and eventually the Guardians' bats got him home in the seventh and ninth innings. The rookie has been on a roll the last week, going 9-for-18 with four walks, two doubles, two home runs and eight RBI over the last six contests.

Athletics' Donovan Walton: Walk-off blast in 10th inning
Walton went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Mariners.
Walton has just seven homers on the year, but three have come over nine games in September. The utility man delivered with a walk-off blast in the 10th inning Friday, taking Eduard Bazardo deep. Walton has batted .277 with an .850 OPS, 25 RBI, 34 runs scored, 13 doubles, one triple and two stolen bases over 226 plate appearances between the Athletics and the Angels this season.
