Karros went 2-for-4 with an RBI on Tuesday against the Mariners.

Karros recorded an RBI in his second consecutive game after knocking in a run with a single in the second inning. He remains the Rockies' primary third baseman, starting 16 of 20 games in September. However, Karros has hit only .222 with three RBI and six runs scored in that span.

Garcia went 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI, three runs scored and a walk in Tuesday's win over the Angels.

Garcia set the tone with a leadoff double in the first inning and later came around to score on a wild pitch, sparking what became his first three-hit performance since Aug. 10. While he's had a quieter September with a .620 OPS over 20 games, the third baseman's 2025 campaign as a whole has been a breakout. Through 155 contests, he owns an .809 OPS with 38 doubles, five triples, 16 homers, 72 RBI and 23 stolen bases, ranking second among Royals regulars in OPS behind only Bobby Witt.

Arenado went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Tuesday's 9-8 win over the Giants.

Arenado ended a power drought of 33 games, though he also missed a month and a half in that span due to a right shoulder strain. He has gone 8-for-30 (.267) with four extra-base hits and seven RBI over eight games since his return from the injury. Overall, the third baseman is at a .238/.292/.373 slash line with 11 homers, 50 RBI, 47 runs scored and three steals over 104 contests. Barring a massive surge this week, Arenado will finish the season with an OPS under .700 for the first time in his career.

Machado is not in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Brewers.

Machado will take a seat for just the second time this season as the Padres go to battle with Milwaukee. The Padres clinched a playoff berth by winning Monday's series opener 5-4 in 11 innings, so it makes sense to give Machado a little extra rest. Jose Iglesias will draw the start at third base and bat sixth in his place.

Moncada isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Moncada will sit down for a second consecutive game Tuesday, though he recorded a hit off the bench Sunday to end what had been an 0-for-13 stretch at the plate. Oswald Peraza will pick up another start at the hot corner as a result and bat sixth.

Shaw (personal) will start at third base and bat eighth in Tuesday's game against the Mets.

Shaw was away from the club Sunday in order to attend a funeral, but he's back in action Tuesday following the Cubs' team off day Monday. The rookie infielder is slashing just .200/.297/.309 in September.

Alvarez (thumb) will start at third base and bat ninth in Monday's game versus the Nationals.

Alvarez was unable to participate in Sunday's game against the Tigers due to a laceration on his thumb, but he's been cleared to return to action after being given a day to let the injury heal. The 22-year-old cranked his first two major-league home runs in his last game Saturday in Detroit.

Mauricio has just six plate appearances in September, going 1-for-5 with a single and a walk.

The 24-year-old infielder disappeared from the second base/third base mix down the stretch, while Brett Baty and Mark Vientos took on near-everyday roles. Per Tim Britton of The Athletic, Mauricio remained on the big-league roster rather than being swapped out for a player that manager Carlos Mendoza might have been more willing to use to preserve his final minor-league option for 2026 -- had he spent three more days on a minor-league roster, the option would have been burned. Through 58 games this year for the Mets, Mauricio is slashing .231/.293/.381 with six homers and four steals, but he still appears to be part of the organization's long-term plans.

Phillies manager Rob Thomson indicated Sunday that he'll move Bohm up to the cleanup spot in Tuesday's game versus the Marlins, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Bohm was "on everything" during the weekend series in Arizona, per Thomson, going 8-for-13 with a home run and two doubles after returning from a shoulder issue. With Bohm's impending move up to the cleanup spot, J.T. Realmuto will likely slide down to the No. 6 slot.

Paredes went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Mariners.

Paredes missed two months due to a right hamstring tear suffered in mid-July against the Mariners. He's gone 2-for-11 with a walk and six strikeouts over three games since his return to the lineup, though he is being eased back in as the designated hitter. For the season, Paredes is up to 20 homers while adding 51 RBI, 52 runs scored, 15 doubles, one triple and a .257/.356/.470 slash line over 97 contests. He has now reached the 20-homer mark in three of the last four seasons.
