Mack is absent from the lineup for Sunday's game versus Atlanta.

Mack will yield to Brian Navarreto at catcher for the regular-season finale. The rookie backstop will finish his first big-league season having slashed .234/.282/.403 with 14 home runs across 105 contests.

Dingler is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Eduardo Valencia will be rewarded for his walk-off homer Saturday with a start behind the plate in the regular-season finale. Barring an appearance off the bench, Dingler will finish the 2026 campaign with a .243 average, 27 homers, 91 RBI and 72 runs scored across 605 plate appearances.

Baldwin is not in the lineup for Sunday's contest against the Marlins.

It's the first day off since June 24 for Baldwin, who will get a bit of extra rest as Atlanta gears up for the playoffs. Sean Murphy will do the catching, and Mike Yastrzemski will slot in at designated hitter.

Smith is absent from the lineup for Sunday's contest in San Francisco.

Smith will get a little extra rest as the Dodgers head into postseason action. Hunter Feduccia will do the catching in Sunday's regular-season finale.

Moreno is nursing a hamstring injury that first cropped up during Friday's contest, but he'll attempt to play through the injury. The 26-year-old Moreno is also trying to win the National League batting title, as he'll enter play Sunday with a one-point edge over Luis Arraez (ankle).

Contreras is absent from the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Cardinals.

Contreras will be given an extra day of rest before the Brewers open up NLDS play next weekend. Gary Sanchez will do the catching in Sunday's regular-season finale.

Jensen is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Maikel Garcia will get a turn atop the order as Luke Maile catches and Salvador Perez serves as the designated hitter to close out the regular season for Kansas City. Jensen currently sits seventh among fantasy catchers in traditional rotisserie leagues, having slashed .239/.323/.467 with 27 homers, 81 RBI, 80 runs scored and two stolen bases in 149 games this season.

Alvarez is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals, aa reports.

Alvarez reached the century mark in games played for the third time in four years, but his strikeout rate shot up to a career-high 30.7 percent in 2026, costing him more than 20 points in batting average compared to 2025.

McCann has hit three homers over eight games in September. The catcher is batting just .217 (5-for-23) in that span. He's mostly been limited to a reserve role down the stretch. Moreno tweaked his hamstring during Saturday's 10-7 loss to the Padres, but he's expected to be in the lineup for Sunday's regular-season finale, Jack Sommers of SI.com reports.

The issue cropped up during Friday's game, but Moreno was in the lineup for Saturday's contest before being pinch hit for in the ninth frame. He received treatment for his hamstring following Saturday's loss, and it looks like the 26-year-old catcher will be in action for Sunday's game as the Diamondbacks make one final push toward a playoff berth. He went 1-for-3 with an RBI single prior to his exit.
