Manager Dave Roberts said after Wednesday's loss against Philadelphia in Game 3 of the NLDS that Scott wasn't available due to personal reasons, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Roberts didn't provide any details on when Scott may return, so it seems the Dodgers' bullpen will have to work around being slightly shorthanded for the time being. The 31-year-old lefty gave up six earned runs over 8.1 innings across the final month of the regular season and has yet to appear in a game this postseason.

Jameson (elbow) tossed a scoreless inning of relief Tuesday during an appearance in the Arizona Fall League.

After missing the entire 2024 campaign while recovering from Tommy John surgery, Jameson was back to full health for the start of spring training, but he made just three appearances for Arizona and 16 in the minors before being shut down in late June when he developed a bone fragment chip in his surgically repaired elbow. Though Jameson didn't return to action before the end of the minor-league season, he avoided another procedure on his elbow and looks like he'll be in line for a normal offseason following a stellar relief appearance Tuesday. Jameson needed only eight pitches to retire the side, generating three groundballs while sporting a fastball that topped out at 99.4 miles per hour. Jameson, who maintains a spot on Arizona's 40-man roster, is expected to compete for a bullpen role with the big club this spring.

Brasier (groin) has rejoined the Cubs since his rehab assignment at Triple-A Iowa concluded in September when the minor-league season ended, but he has yet to be activated for the postseason, MLB.com reports.

Brasier landed on the 15-day injured list Aug. 22 due to a left groin strain, but he was able to make three appearances for Iowa in September and looks to be back to full health. However, the Cubs opted not to reinstate Brasier for the final week of the regular season nor for the wild-card round or NLDS, and it may take an injury to another pitcher later in the postseason in order for him to be added back to the 26-man active roster. Brasier made 28 appearances for the Cubs during the regular season, logging a 4.50 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 20:5 K:BB in 26 innings.

Manager Pat Murphy said that Ashby is slated to serve as the Brewers' opening pitcher Monday for Game 2 of the NLDS against the Cubs, Sophia Minnaert of FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin reports.

Murphy didn't divulge whether the Brewers would use a bulk reliever behind Ashby or if the team would treat Game 2 as a bullpen day, but all of Milwaukee's starters save for Freddy Peralta would be available to pitch once Ashby exits the contest. Ashby maxed out at 3.2 innings and 50 pitches over his 43 appearances during the regular season, but the Brewers are unlikely to have him work more than once through the order before pulling him from the Game 2 start. Ashby will be pitching on one day of rest after making a 1.1-inning, 16-pitch appearance in Milwaukee's 9-3 win in Game 1 on Saturday.

Megill (elbow) will be available for the NLDS after bouncing back from his relief outing Sunday versus the Reds with normal soreness, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Megill struck out a pair in a 1-2-3 inning against the Reds in what was his first appearance since he landed on the 15-day injured list in late August with a right elbow flexor strain. The 31-year-old Megill notched 30 saves as the Brewers' primary closer this season, and he could return to the ninth-inning role now that he's deemed healthy. However, Abner Uribe also pitched well as the team's closer while Megill was injured, so manager Pat Murphy could consider either pitcher for save chances during the NLDS against the Cubs.

Kittredge recorded the final two outs to earn the save in Thursday's win over the Padres in Game 3 of the National League Wild Card Series.

Kittredge played a versatile role for the Cubs during their series against the Padres, as he served as the opener in Game 2. One day later, he relieved Brad Keller in the ninth inning with the game-tying run at second base. Kittredge has allowed one earned run across 2.2 innings this postseason.

Suarez gave up one hit over 1.1 scoreless innings to pick up the save in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Cubs.

A great catch in right field from Fernando Tatis allowed Suarez to record the final out of the eighth inning on just three pitches. The 34-year-old right-hander then came back out to handle the ninth and gave up a one-out single to Kyle Tucker before inducing a double play from Seiya Suzuki to end the game. Suarez led the National League with 40 saves during the regular season and figures to have a firm grip on the ninth inning as long as the Padres remain in the postseason.

Dunning cleared waivers Wednesday and was outrighted to Triple-A Gwinnett.

Dunning pitched 10 innings for Atlanta after joining the organization in July, during which he surrendered 12 earned runs while striking out 11 batters and walking two. The 30-year-old will have the option to elect free agency, though his recent performance may not attract more than a minor-league contract.

Diaz cleared waivers Wednesday and was sent outright to Triple-A Gwinnett.

Diaz bounced between the Reds, Dodgers and Atlanta in 2025, finishing the regular season with an 8.15 ERA and 1.53 WHIP through 17.2 MLB innings. Despite his 75 career saves, he'll likely need to prove himself in the minors next season before getting another shot in the big leagues.

The Padres transferred Adam (quadriceps) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

The transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for the addition of Martin Maldonado. Adam underwent season-ending surgery in early September to repair a ruptured left quadriceps tendon and is expected to require 6-to-9 months to recover.
