Nationals' Braxton Roxby: Claimed by Nationals
The Nationals claimed Roxby off waivers from the Giants on Thursday.
The 27-year-old Roxby reached the majors in 2026 for the first time, allowing two runs with a 3:2 K:BB across 5.1 frames. Roxby -- who logged a 3.78 ERA and 60:26 K:BB over 64.1 innings with Triple-A Sacramento -- will compete for a bullpen job with the Nationals, assuming he's still in the organization for spring training.

Victor Robles RF | SEA
Victor Robles: Club option declined
The Mariners declined Robles' $9 million club option for the 2027 season Thursday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Robles' time in Seattle will come to an end after two seasons, during which he slashed .251/.300/.318 across 263 plate appearances. The 29-year-old's speed may be enough for him to land a major-league deal in the offseason, but his poor offensive output will limit his fantasy appeal.

Bryce Miller SP | SEA
Mariners' Bryce Miller: Still with Seattle after declined option
The Mariners declined Miller's $6.075 million club option for 2027 on Thursday.
Miller remains under team control through 2029, but the Mariners expect to be able to lock him in at a cheaper cost for 2027 via the arbitration process. The 28-year-old right-hander had an up-and-down 2026 campaign, finishing with a 4.17 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 119:38 K:BB across 118.2 innings.

Andres Munoz RP | SEA
Mariners' Andres Munoz: Club option for 2027 exercised
The Mariners exercised Munoz's $9 million club option for 2027 on Thursday.
Munoz had a disappointing 2026 season by his standards, posting a 4.24 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 89:24 K:BB over 57.1 innings. However, he's still a bargain at that price, and the Mariners will have another club option on Munoz for 2028. Munoz boasts a career 34.4 percent strikeout rate, and he'll be in line to serve as closer for Seattle again in 2027.

Anthony Banda RP | MIN
Twins' Anthony Banda: Outrighted to minors
The Twins outrighted Banda (lat) to Triple-A St. Paul on Thursday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
The transaction frees a spo on the 40-man roster. Banda underwent left lat surgery in early July, but he expects to be ready for spring training. The southpaw has logged a 3.44 ERA and 144:67 K:BB over 149 regular-season innings covering the last three years.

Tristan Gray SS | MIN
Twins' Tristan Gray: Scrubbed from 40-man roster
The Twins outrighted Gray to Triple-A St. Paul on Thursday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Gray played a lot for the Twins in the first half this season, but he spent nearly all of the second half in the minors. The 30-year-old utility player slashed .225/.267/.324 with four home runs in 66 contests this season. He's now off the 40-man roster.

Michael Stefanic 2B | ATH
Athletics' Michael Stefanic: Outrighted to Vegas
Stefanic cleared waivers Thursday and was sent outright to Triple-A Las Vegas, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
Stefanic spent most of his time this season at Triple-A, slashing 296/.405/414 with six homers, 59 RBI, 59 runs scored and nine steals across 453 plate appearances. He may get a chance to compete for a roster spot during spring training in 2027, though he will most likely remain in the minors as organizational depth.
-
Brian Serven C | ATH
Athletics' Brian Serven: Removed from 40-man roster
The Athletics outrighted Serven to Triple-A Las Vegas on Thursday.
Though he managed to club five home runs, Serven posted just a .599 OPS over 85 plate appearances this season with the Athletics. He has the ability to decline the outright assignment and become a free agent, and Serven is likely to exercise that right.

Geoff Hartlieb RP | ATH
Athletics' Geoff Hartlieb: Sent outright to minors
The Athletics outrighted Hartlieb to Triple-A Las Vegas on Thursday.
The move clears a spot on the 40-man roster. Hartlieb got into 18 games for the Athletics this season, logging a 4.82 ERA and 22:14 K:BB over 28 frames. The 32-year-old has been outrighted before, so Hartlieb could choose to decline the assignment and become a free agent.
