The Timberwolves waived Johnson on Saturday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Johnson has played five NBA seasons with the Pacers, Nets, Bulls, Wizards, Pelicans and Spurs, but the 29-year-old forward was unable to make Minnesota's final roster. He'll now seek opportunities elsewhere.
