Markkanen supplied 22 points (7-17 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one block over 31 minutes during Monday's 117-112 loss to the Nets.
Prior to Monday's clash, Markkanen hadn't seen any action since Nov. 1 while in COVID-19 protocols, but he managed to put together a serviceable line. It was also reassuring to see the Arizona product take on a sizeable workload in his first game back, proving that he's remained in game shape. Markkanen is putting up 13.9 points to go along with 6.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists through nine contests this season.
