Chris Clemons: Waived by Rockets

The Rockets will waive Clemons (Achilles) on Thursday, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

The Rockets are cutting Clemons to make room for Kevin Porter, who will be traded from the Cavaliers in exchange for a future second-round pick. Clemons' season is already over due to a torn Achilles suffered mid-December.
