The Clippers re-signed Gabriel on a second 10-day contract Tuesday, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports.

Gabriel was briefly a free agent after his first 10-day deal with the Clippers expired Monday, but since the team was off that day, LA waited until Tuesday before adding him back to the roster on a new contract. He'll be sticking with the Clippers on a hardship exemption, which the NBA granted the team after Justise Winslow entered the COVID-19 health and safety protocols Sunday. Gabriel is expected to be a fringe member of the rotation for the duration of his deal.
