Drew Peterson: Let go by Charlotte

The Hornets waived Peterson on Tuesday.

Peterson has spent most of the 2025-26 season either deep on the Hornets' bench or in the G League with the Greensboro Swarm, where he has averaged 14.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.9 steals in 32.1 minutes per game. Peterson will hit the waiver wire and could garner interest from teams looking to add a young wing to their rotation.
