We try to cover as much ground as possible on the Fantasy Basketball Today podcast, but there are so many players, and only so many hours in the podcast to get to them. So, inevitably, some players will fall through the cracks.
We tried to catch a few of them in Thursday's episode, namely three of the best players of the NBA season so far: Otto Porter, Al Horford and Kyle Lowry. Lowry and Horford came into the season with high expectations and have arguably exceeded them, while Porter is enjoying a true breakout, and looks like a star now.
We discussed their hot starts, whether they are sustainable, and why they've been overlooked. Some other topics we covered Thursday include:
- Is Giannis Antetokounmpo's defense or Russell Westbrook's rebounding more sustainable?
- Is Pau Gasol droppable?
- Is Tim Frazier droppable?
- Do we buy Anthony Davis as a league-leading scorer?
