Fantasy Basketball Week 22: Who's hot, who's not, and a DFS target for Tuesday
Studs and and dud from Monday with a DFS play for Tuesday

There was no shortage of prolific scoring on Monday, as several big-time Fantasy players racked up impressive point totals. Three players eclipsed 45 points and another broke this 2021-22 single-game scoring record. We'll go over three players who are running hot and one who's fallen short of expectations lately before highlighting an ideal DFS play for Tuesday's four-game NBA slate.
Who's hot
KAT notched his sixth consecutive double-double against the Spurs on Monday and broke this year's single-game scoring record. The Timberwolves big man poured in 60 points to go along with 17 rebounds. He sank seven triples in the contest. The versatile stretch five has helped Minnesota win two straight, and the Denver Nuggets are just 1.5 games ahead in the Western Conference standings.
Young followed up his 47-point performance from Sunday with another spectacular showing in Portland on Monday. The Hawks guard poured in 46 points with 12 assists to lift his team past the struggling Trail Blazers. He's averaged 31.1 points and 9.9 rebounds per contest in the 10 games he's appeared in since All-Star weekend. Atlanta seems undermanned with John Collins out of the picture but is pushing for a spot in the play-in tournament alongside the Charlotte Hornets and Brooklyn Nets.
Fox is still reaping the benefits from Sacramento's big moves ahead of the 2022 NBA trade deadline. He's taken off with Kings' backcourt rotation now that Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield are out of the picture and scored 34 points in a win over the Chicago Bulls on Monday. He's averaged 29.5 points and 6.8 assists per game since Domantas Sabonis made his Kings debut in February.
Who's not
Brook Lopez is back in the mix for the Milwaukee Bucks and made his debut return to the hardwood in the Bucks' win against the Jazz on Monday. Lopez isn't playing major minutes just yet, but Portis has already seen a dip in production over the past week. Bobby Buckets tallied seven points and six rebounds against Utah and has scored less than 10 points in three of his past five games.
DFS target
Brooks has been banged up all year and played in his first game since January on Sunday. The Grizzlies wing played 26 minutes and scored 15 points on 14 shots. Memphis plans to start him for the foreseeable future and he'll have no problem firing off plenty of shots. Brooks averaged 20 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game before injuring his ankle in early January. Getting value out of him before his price rises is the best option. Especially since the Indiana Pacers have given up 119.9 points per game since the All-Star break.
