Fantasy Basketball Week 25: Nikola Jokic vs. Joel Embiid, who's cold, and DFS advice for Wednesday
Ameer Tyree goes details the latest outbursts from Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid before highlighting a primetime Wednesday DFS target.

Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid highlighted the NBA's main slate once again on Tuesday. Each of the star centers eclipsed 40 points in double-double performances and are on track to finish the regular season on a high note. Playoff seeding matters for both MVP frontrunners, but contending teams aren't the only ones providing high-value fantasy options. We'll go over three studs and a dud for Wednesday's recap and point out a desirable DFS target ahead of the impending main slate here.
Who's hot
While the Denver Nuggets unexpectedly fell short against the San Antonio Spurs, but Jokic topped the fantasy leaderboard once again. He tallied 41 points and 17 rebounds on Tuesday. Jokic has racked up at least 37 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists in four consecutive contests. Embiid won't gain any ground if the reigning MVP keeps putting together show-stopping performances.
Embiid eclipsed 40 points for a second straight game on Tuesday. The Philadelphia 76ers superstar scored 45 points and grabbed 13 rebounds while shooting 60 percent from the field against the Indiana Pacers. He's rattled off nine consecutive double-doubles and could very well average more than 40 points per game in April.
Hoard has appeared in just four NBA games this season and posted monster stat lines in two of them. The Oklahoma City Thunder forward amassed 24 points and 21 rebounds on 11-of-17 shooting against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday after posting 11 points and 20 rebounds against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday. It's unclear how he'll fit in with OKC's other young bigs moving forward, but he's well worth playing if he starts. Hoard's averaging 17.5 points, 20.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game as a starter this season.
Who's Not
Rozier is having a strong year for the Charlotte Hornets but is in a bit of a slump. The dynamic combo guard's rebounding and assist numbers have been just fine over his last five games, but he's averaged 13.4 points while shooting 36.4 percent from the field and 22.6 percent from deep since March 27th. LaMelo Ball's thriving ahead of the regular season's end, and "Scary Terry" has taken a back seat as a result.
DFS target
Julius Randle appears to be shut down for the year and DFS sites haven't adjusted Toppin's price accordingly. The New York Knicks' second-year forward has averaged 20 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game over Randle's latest two absences and will face a Nets team that forked up big games to Alperen Sengun, Jalen Green, and Kevin Porter Jr. Toppin's averaging 19.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game when he plays at least 30 minutes. He's sure to hit that mark on Wednesday.
