Porter (not with team) won't play in Thursday's game versus the Magic.
Porter hasn't played since Dec. 30, when he was still a member of the Raptors. He hasn't linked up with the Jazz since being acquired at the trade deadline and could be bought out of his contract before March 1 so he can pursue a move to a contending team.
