Nets' Blake Griffin: Out for rest purposes

Griffin (injury management) will not play Monday against the Knicks, Billy Reinhardt of Nets Daily reports.

The Nets are playing on the second half of a back-to-back, so Griffin will get his customary night off after playing 22 minutes in Sunday's loss at Chicago. Griffin finished that contest with 10 points, eight boards and two assists. Expect Griffin to return to action for Wednesday's game against New Orleans.
