Brooklyn recalled Whitehead from the G League's Long Island Nets on Tuesday.
Whitehead is coming off an impressive performance in Tuesday's 111-85 win over Windy City in the G League, finishing with 20 points and six rebounds in 31 minutes. He'll be available for Wednesday's game against the 76ers to provide some emergency depth for the team.
