Watanabe signed a one-year contract with the Nets on Sunday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Watanabe spent the last two seasons with the Raptors but fell out of Toronto's rotation over the second half of the 2021-22 campaign. The 27-year-old will attempt to carve out playing time in a depth role in Brooklyn's frontcourt.
