Watson doesn't appear to have suffered any injury but won't play Friday. In all likelihood, the Nuggets have simply seen enough from their 2022 first-round pick. With Bruce Brown and Jeff Green gone, Watson could be poised for a bigger role in Denver next season after making just 23 appearances as a rookie in 2022-23.
