Porter (hamstring) will miss Wednesday's preseason game versus the Celtics, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.careports.
Porter is expected to be sidelined for "a little while", according to Raptors coach Nick Nurse. It is unclear how long he will be out, and if he will miss any regular season action. If Porter is healthy by Oct. 19, he will likely be one of the first forwards off the bench.
