Trevor Keels: Cut loose by Miami

Keels was waived by the Heat on Thursday, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.

Keels will presumably end up with Miami's G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, before the 2025-26 regular season begins. He pieced together a strong performance in the preseason opener, totaling 12 points, one rebound and two assists in 17 minutes against Orlando.
