Curry scored 53 points (17-27 FG, 8-14 3Pt, 11-11 FT) with nine assists, four rebounds and four steals in 36 minutes during Saturday's win over the Pelicans.

He missed tying his previous career high by one point. Curry also hit the Pelicans up for 40 points in the season opener, so New Orleans will be very happy that they don't have to face the reigning MVP again for a good long while.
