  • Timberwolves' Rocco Zikarsky: Off injury report

Zikarsky (undisclosed) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Heat.

Zikarsky missed three consecutive games to end the preseason, though he's set to be available for the Timberwolves' regular-season opener. However, the big man isn't guaranteed to see the floor.

  • Kon Knueppel SF | CHA

Hornets' Kon Knueppel: Ruled out for Wednesday

Knueppel (hamstring) has returned to individual on-court activity but won't play in Wednesday's game against the Nets.

Knueppel didn't play in the preseason and will miss Wednesday's regular-season opener due to a left hamstring injury. However, he's trending in the right direction and can be considered questionable for Friday's game against Atlanta. With the 21-year-old swingman sidelined, Sion James, Grayson Allen (knee) and Royce O'Neale are candidates to see an uptick in minutes.

  • Grant Williams PF | CHA

Hornets' Grant Williams: Ruled out for Wednesday

Williams (hamstring) is out for Wednesday's season opener versus the Nets.

Williams is not yet able to practice fully as he works back from a hamstring injury. The Hornets should turn to Royce O'Neale for some extra playing time until Williams is ready to suit up.

  • Coby White PG | CHA

Hornets' Coby White: Ruled out for season opener

White (calf) is out for Wednesday's season opener against the Nets.

White is doing individual work at practice and isn't yet ready to return to game action with a calf strain. Until he's cleared to retake the court, Dennis Schroder figures to start at point guard for the Hornets and offer streaming appeal in most fantasy leagues.

  • Pelle Larsson SF | MIA

Heat's Pelle Larsson: Omitted from injury report

Larsson (illness) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves.

Larsson sat out the Heat's last two preseason games due to an illness, though he's ready to go for the start of the regular season. The 25-year-old swingman took a step forward in the 2025-26 campaign, averaging 11.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 0.7 steals in 26.4 minutes per game across 70 regular-season appearances (54 starts). He figures to be one of the first men off the Heat's bench in 2026-27.

  • Bam Adebayo C | MIA

Heat's Bam Adebayo: Off injury report

Adebayo (groin) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against Minnesota.

Adebayo missed the Heat's final three preseason games with right groin tightness, though the star big man is set to play in the team's regular-season opener. Over 73 regular-season appearances in 2025-26, he averaged 20.1 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.9 combined steals-plus-blocks in 32.4 minutes per contest. He's finished with regular-season averages of at least 18 points and nine rebounds per game in six straight years.

  • Dru Smith PG | MIA

Heat's Dru Smith: Available for Wednesday

Smith (calf) is available for Wednesday's season opener versus Minnesota.

Smith has made good progress with a right calf strain and is ready to roll for Opening Night. He's set to be the No. 2 point guard off the bench behind Davion Mitchell on Wednesday.

  • Heat's Vladislav Goldin: Questionable with ankle sprain

Goldin is questionable for Wednesday's season opener against Minnesota with a right ankle sprain.

Goldin is in danger of missing the start of the new year. His status should have little to no effect on the Miami rotation Wednesday.

The Grizzlies exercised their third-year team option on Coward's contract Tuesday.

Coward is now officially under contract for the 2027-28 campaign after averaging 13.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 25.8 minutes per game across 62 regular-season appearances (47 starts) in his rookie season. The 23-year-old swingman will likely begin the 2026-27 season in the Grizzlies' starting five when they host the Jazz on Wednesday.
