  • Grayson Allen SG | PHO

    Suns' Grayson Allen: Ejected Wednesday

Allen has been ejected from Wednesday's game against the Thunder after being assessed a Flagrant 2 foul, Andrew Schlecht of The Athletic reports.

Allen threw his body into Chet Holmgren while attempting to fight through a screen, and the foul was upgraded to a Flagrant 2 after a review. He'll finish the game with 10 points (3-9 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists, one rebound and one steal across 22 minutes. The Suns are down nearly 40 points late in the third quarter, so Allen's departure shouldn't change much. If anything, Phoenix may turn to its reserves a little earlier.

  • Al Horford C | GS

Warriors' Al Horford: Won't play Friday

Horford (back) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Timberwolves, Danny Emerman of SFStandard.com reports.

Horford is slated to miss a third consecutive game due to a sciatic nerve issue in his back, and his next opportunity to play is Sunday against the Trail Blazers. Quinten Post and Trayce Jackson-Davis will continue to see more minutes for as long as Horford is sidelined.

  • Warriors' Stephen Curry: Scrimmages Wednesday

Curry (quadriceps) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports.

While Curry hasn't been officially cleared for Friday's matchup with Minnesota, he's on track to play. The veteran point guard was a full go for Wednesday's practice, which included a scrimmage. Curry's return would mean fewer opportunities for Pat Spencer and Gary Payton.

  • Cason Wallace PG | OKC

Thunder's Cason Wallace: Heads to locker room

Wallace went back to the locker room during Wednesday's game against Phoenix for undisclosed reasons, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

Wallace intentionally fouled so he could depart the contest, but it's unclear what prompted the decision. While the guard is out, Alex Caruso and Ajay Mitchell could see more playing time.

  • Spurs' Jordan McLaughlin: Cleared for return

McLaughlin (hamstring) will play in Wednesday's game against the Lakers, NBA reporter Matthew Tynan reports.

McLaughlin will return from a 10-game absence due to a strained left hamstring. Although his return will provide San Antonio with additional guard depth, he likely won't crack the Spurs' rotation Wednesday night.

  • Spurs' Carter Bryant: Cleared to play Wednesday

Bryant (illness) is available for Wednesday's NBA Cup quarterfinal contest against the Lakers, NBA reporter Matthew Tynan reports.

Bryant has been cleared to play Wednesday after being added to the injury report due to an illness. The rookie first rounder has averaged just 8.6 minutes per game over his last 11 outings, but his presence gives the Spurs added depth on the wing.

  • Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Not playing Thursday

Strawther (back) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Kings.

Strawther has been sidelined by a back injury since mid-November, but the good news for the third-year forward is that he has been increasing his participation in practices, though he has yet to be cleared to engage in full basketball activities. Strawther's next opportunity to play is Monday against the Rockets, though he's unlikely to play unless he is cleared to participate in 5-on-5 practice scrimmages.

  • Zach LaVine SG | SAC

Kings' Zach LaVine: Won't play Thursday

LaVine has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Nuggets due to right thumb soreness.

LaVine will miss his first game since Nov. 12 due to a right thumb issue. With Dennis Schroder (hip) considered doubtful for Thursday's contest, Malik Monk, Keon Ellis and Nique Clifford could see a sizeable uptick in minutes. LaVine's next chance to play will come Sunday against the Timberwolves.

  • Kings' Dennis Schroder: Unlikely to play Thursday

Schroder (hip) is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Nuggets.

Schroder is trending toward missing a seventh consecutive game due to a right hip flexor strain, so Malik Monk, Nique Clifford and Keon Ellis should continue to see a bump in playing time. There doesn't appear to be an established timeline for Schroder's return, but assuming he sits Thursday, his next opportunity to see the floor would be Sunday against the Timberwolves.

  • Thunder's Jaylin Williams: Reverting to bench role Wednesday

Williams is not in the Thunder's starting lineup against the Suns in Wednesday's NBA Cup quarterfinal, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

Williams started in the Thunder's last two games and averaged 4.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals over 21.5 minutes per game over that span. Williams and Ajay Mitchell will both revert to bench roles Wednesday due to the returns of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luguentz Dort.
