The Giants DST turned out to be a standout Fantasy option in 2016, finishing No. 6 in standard leagues with 17 interceptions, 38 sacks, 12 fumble recoveries, four touchdowns, while holding opponents to 284 points. That was good to be the second-best scoring defense in the NFL behind the Patriots (250 points). It should be another quality year for the Giants DST in 2017, making it worth drafting in all leagues with a late-round pick. The Giants were able to keep free agent pass rusher Jason Pierre-Paul, and this is a team loaded with talent with Olivier Vernon, Damon Harrison, Landon Collins, Janoris Jenkins and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, among others. Losing defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins as a free agent to the Colts hurts, but the Giants should be able to overcome his loss. This is a solid Fantasy DST option in all formats for 2017.
