49ers' Kalia Davis: Undergoes surgery

Davis (hand) is set to undergo surgery after breaking his hand in Thursday's 26-23 win over the Rams, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Davis was an integral part of the 49ers' defense prior to his injury, tallying seven total tackles over 124 defensive snaps. While he's sidelined for the foreseeable future, expect Alfred Collins to see increased work with San Francisco's first-team defense.
