Ebukam was sidelined at Friday's practice due to lower-body soreness, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Ebukam tallied 4.5 sacks in each of the past two seasons with the Rams before jumping ship to division-rival San Francisco this offseason. He is now looking to secure a role providing depth on the team's defensive line in 2021. His absence from practice due to lower-body soreness is not too surprising, as everyone's bodies are adjusting to training camp being in full swing. Still, it would be advantageous for a guy fighting for a job to return to the field sooner than later.
