Adrian Martinez: Returns to practice squad

Martinez reverted to the Jets' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Martinez was elevated to operate as New York's backup quarterback behind Brady Cook in Week 15 while Tyrod Taylor (groin) and Justin Fields (knee) were unavailable. Martinez did not appear in the team's 48-20 loss to Jacksonville, and he can still be elevated two more times this season.
