Broncos' Jake Butt: Placed on PUP list

The Broncos are placing Butt (knee) on the Physically Unable to Perform list, Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post reports.

As expected, the 2017 fifth-round pick will be out for at least the first six games of the season. Butt suffered a torn ACL in the Orange Bowl and always figured to be a developmental project more so than an immediate contributor. He did well to land with a team that doesn't have a major pass-catching threat at his position.
