Chargers' Artavis Scott: Placed on IR

Scott (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Jack Wang of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Scott injured his ankle in the Chargers' preseason finale. It's unclear what the specifics of the injury are but the 23-year-old receiver will be out for the season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team.
